Long Distance and TollFree (800) Service

We offer many different types of telecom services including TollFree (800). TollFree service allows the call originator to place toll (long distance) calls to 800 service subscribers, from within specified rate areas in the U.S. without a charge to the call originator. 

The FCC mandates choice for customers to select the Long Distance provider (IXC) that best meets their requirements and that also includes the choice of a TollFree provider. One of the biggest requirements of business customers in selecting a TollFree provider is price. An IXC is a communications common carrier that provides telecommunications services (e.g. TollFree Service) between LATAs or between exchanges within the same LATA. The TollFree IXCs, Interexchange carriers have usually relied on local exchange carriers (LEC - RBOC) or competitive local exchange carriers (CLEC) for the local origination and termination of TollFree traffic.

Dedicated TollFree requires at least a DS1 / T1 Dedicated Private Line (at the TollFree receiving site) and goes from your office location PBX switch via a Dedicated Private Line direct to the Long Distance POP switch.
